It started simply with Activity Director, Rebecca Moore and Maintenance Aric Halverson going to Mercy Park to get ready for tree decorating for the Holiday Tree Trail. A few minor glitches and a workout later (Rebecca 's fitbit thought she was actually at the gym and sent her encouraging messages.."you're in it to win it") Medicalodges Neosho's tree is on display and waiting for your vote. Be sure and come see our Chiefs inspired tree!
Great job Neosho! ...

November 19th was World Pancreatic Cancer Day. This year an estimated 60,430 adults in the United States will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic Cancer is often difficult to diagnose. There is no validated, specific screening tests that can easily and reliably find early-stage pancreatic cancer in people who have no symptoms. It is the 8th most common cancer in women and the 10th most common cancer in men. Staff wore purple for all of the fighters and angels who have touched our lives. ...

Happy Veteran's Day!
We are proud to honor our veterans today in Neosho. Between the staff and residents, we have thirteen amazing veterans and every branch of the military represented. Blaire Hoyt, John Hoover, Donald Berry, Robert Anderson, Lloyd Tanner, Jack Smith, Larry Blevins, Terry Fuller, John Custer, Roy Tucker, George Buttram, Misty Henderson- DePaul and William Nollsch. To each of these veterans we give our thanks for their sacrifice and willingness to serve. As a token of our appreciation, they were served a special meal of steak kabobs over parmesan fettuccine and cherry pie. Special thank you cards were passed out, crafted by our grateful residents. Lloyd Tanner made a special speech that brought tears to the eyes and our traditional America's White Table was set up in the dining room. The staff came to work wearing their patriotic best. We hope all of our veterans felt loved on this special day. #veteransday2021 #lodgelove #neosholodge ...
